The Club

Founded in 1938 just four years after, and on the site of, the Chicago’s World Fair, the club was begun by a group of local dinghy builders with a mooring location in the harbor.

In the 80+ years since, the club and it’s facilities have grown, while it’s members have continued to promote boating in Chicago.

Dining Room
- In season, on the weekends we have a fine breakfast buffet and are open for lunch and dinner. We encourage reservations so we can ensure our staff is there to serve you.
  
  Each week our chef has specials in addition to the normal entries on the menu and we can accommodate special diets if notified in advance.
Bar
- Our bar is the perfect place to meet friends and enjoy the beautiful view of the city. We have a wide range of wines and liquors and of course, once our bar tender gets to know you your favorite drink will be there for you. We have been working hard on our wine selection and have a fine selection of premium vintages.
  
  Relax after work and enjoy our excellent selection of food from our bar menu or the full dining room entries.
Chart Room
- The Chart Room is set for for small private meetings up to 20 people.
  
  With fiber web access it’s a great spot for holding your next corporate luncheon or evening entertainment.
Patio
- In the summer our patio is open. On a warm summer day there is not a better view of the harbor and city then from here. The families with kids really enjoy eating here with the swing and sandbox in sight and the low key atmosphere.
